The second hemp restaurant opens in Hollywood – Aeon Botanika
On October 1, the first American hemp cafe, Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe, began operating in West Hollywood. In the spring of 2020, a second restaurant will open in the city – Aeon Botanika.
The wellness center will be created on the basis of Aeon Botanika
On an area of 2133 square meters will be located: cafe, hemp boutique, shop, spa and a room for tea in the Moroccan style. The design of the restaurant will be developed by Ferrier Architecture Studio, and Fred Eric will be appointed chief. He will be responsible for both hemp and ordinary cuisine.
Guests will be offered their services by a wellness center, in which experts on holistic medicine, nutritionists, acupuncturists, massage therapists and therapists will work. The restaurant will hold various events, such as meditation sessions, lectures, and conferences. Aeon Botanika will be the first American company to combine hemp products with wellness services. Visitors will be able to purchase several exclusive items: craft marijuana and cannabinoid nutrition products.
The restaurant received a license for the cultivation and processing of cannabis, as well as for the delivery and sale of hemp products. The company was given permission to open a cafe where cannabinoids can be used for medical and recreational purposes.
Cannabis becomes an element of a healthy lifestyle
The project for creating Aeon Botanika is led by Nicole Fox, who graduated from the University of California with a degree in nutritionist and opened two stores selling medical hemp (Green Goddess and Higher Path). Fox spoke about the reasons that prompted her to open a restaurant: “We live in a time when many people use cannabis for medicinal purposes, so the plant becomes part of the concept of a healthy lifestyle. In Aeon Botanika I want to combine two areas: health and cannabis. I am grateful “West Hollywood residents for their support of legalizing cannabis. We will pay them back with the same coin and become a socially-oriented enterprise.”
The co-founder of the cafe and marketing director Vina Pareh has lived in Amsterdam for 10 years. She graduated from the University of California and Erasmus University of Rotterdam with a degree in political economics and social development. She stated in an interview that Aeon Botanika will unite people with common interests. She believes that cannabis can be a catalyst for positive changes in human life and society, which is why the authors of the project decided to combine the plant with a wellness center.
