The 2016 Annual Power Electronics Industry Collaborative Member Meeting will be held on November 2-3, 2016 at PowerAmerica on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. The meeting will be open to both current and prospective PEIC members.

The PEIC Annual Member Meeting will bring together power electronics technology experts, industry leaders, and government officials to discuss current market trends and opportunities to grow U.S. participation in the worldwide power electronics industry. The meeting agenda will include PEIC organizational updates, technical presentations, research center tours, a federal lab and government agency panel, and social networking. The meeting is open to both current and prospective PEIC members.

  • From points west (Asheville, Chapel Hill, Durham, RDU International Airport, etc.) via I-40 East: Take I-40 East to the Gorman Street exit. Turn left onto Gorman. Turn right at second light onto Avent Ferry Road. Turn right at second light onto Varsity Drive.
  • From points east (Wilmington, Kinston, etc.) via I-40 West: Take I-40 West to the Lake Wheeler Road Exit (297); turn right onto Lake Wheeler. Turn left at first light onto Centennial Parkway; follow to end. Turn left on Avent Ferry Rd. Turn left at first light onto Varsity Drive.
  • From points North (Washington DC, etc) via I-95 South: Take I-95 South to exit 138 to merge on US-64 West towards Nashville. Follow signs for I-440 East/I-40/US-64West. Merge onto I-40 West/US-64 West. Take the Lake Wheeler Road Exit (297); turn right onto Lake Wheeler. Turn left at first light onto Centennial Parkway; follow to end. Turn left on Avent Ferry Rd. Turn left at first light onto Varsity Drive.
  • Inside the Raleigh Beltline: Take Western Boulevard to Avent Ferry Road. Turn south (downhill). Turn left at the second light onto Varsity Drive.

Parking

When entering off of Varsity Drive, take a right on Venture Center Way. The parking deck will be on your right and will have a PowerAmerica Event Parking sign at the second entrance to the parking garage where the gate arm will be raised. Park in any area EXCEPT visitor parking, as you must have a pass. After parking, walk through the breezeway to the front of the building. Enter through the front glass double doors and take the elevator up to the second floor.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites near North Carolina State University at a special rate. Rooms can be booked for booked for either one or two nights, depending on your travel plans. Reservations must be made no later than October 12, 2016.
